Head of HR and Administration

Karen is a qualified HR professional, and keeps herself up to date with current legislation and best practise.

Beginning her career in retail and then in the telcomms industry, it was after having a family that she started working in the community, initially as a volunteer on the Board of Management at Mill Hill Synagogue and then working for six years in an HR role at another charity before joining AJR in 2014. Karen’s responsibilities include recruitment, Data Protection, facilities, staff welfare and general administration.

Since joining AJR, Karen has found the organisation fascinating and the people she met inspirational.

Karen is married with a daughter and step-son.
