You can turn on subtitles in your language in YouTube by clicking the settings button at the base of each video (the cog). In that menu, click ‘Subtitles/CC’, then select, ‘German (auto generated)’. That takes you back a step to the settings menu so you have to reopen ‘Subtitles/CC’. You will now see the ‘Auto translate’ option under ‘German (auto generated)’. Click ‘Auto translate’ to select your language.
