Susan Harrod

Susan joined AJR in 2005 after roles as Personal Assistant to the Finance Director at the Debenhams Group and later a part-time position at United Synagogue following the birth of her children.

As Outreach and Events Manager, she was tasked with expanding AJR’s meetings programme and, over the past two decades, has worked with her team to grow it to more than 40 locations across the UK. During the pandemic she launched AJR’s Zoom events platform to keep members connected when in-person meetings were impossible.

Her role now covers all AJR meetings, events and conferences – including those attended by royalty – and she is known for her enthusiasm, attention to detail and dedication to creating engaging opportunities for members.

Susan is married to David and has two daughters and grandchildren who fill her spare time.
